KIIT School of Fashion Technology

As approved by AICTE, Recognized by UGC, KIIT, in its endeavor of excellence, has always believed that one must march forward to be followed by others. KIIT established the School of Fashion Technology in the academic session of 2009. The school caters to national and international students aspiring to be Textile & Fashion Design Graduates. KIIT School of Fashion Technology fulfills the long-felt need for such a school under a reputed university in this part of the country. The Institute is also dedicated and focuses on creating professionals of par caliber who want to make a mark in the booming Fashion Retail Sector & Manufacturing Sectors. This Fashion Technology course will enable the students to learn design through extensive theoretical and intensive practical classes, field visits, market surveys, Craft Documentation, Industry Internships & Portfolio Development. The school is determined to create a center of excellence with qualitative education, creative exposures, conceptualization skills, technical expertise, well-researched teaching methodology, industry linkages, and an intellectually stimulating cosmopolitan environment.

KIRTI KALPANA

Graduate Fashion/Textile Show

“KIRTI KALPANA”  is an annual event of the KIIT School of Fashion Technology, where models from different parts of India walk on the ramp to showcase the student’s final collections. Their designs will be showcased by the professional models in the Graduation Show. The event will provide budding scholars an opportunity to face the real-life domain experience and go a long way in building students’ confidence in the industry. KIRTI  KALPANA -2024, showcasing the design collection of Bachelor of Design (Fashion & Textile) students. This was followed by the concept development through research and design exploration. Final collections which are showcased on the ramp show evaluated by eminent experts and academicians invited from national and international reputes.

National Handloom Day Celebration

Every year on 7th August, KIIT School of Fashion Technology, celebrates National Handloom Day at Campus 18, to create awareness among the masses about the importance of the handloom industry & present a wide range of scope for handloom products when planned  & designed as per the modern-day demands, KSFT is organizes this handloom & handicraft exhibition along with a handloom product making competition. Students from different departments also take part in the competition.
